VDX: Java/Desktop UI, also known as VDX Legacy Desktop UI is a mod specifically designed for Minecraft Bedrock that alters the in-game user interface (UI) to resemble the look and feel of the Java Edition UI.

Desktop UI for Bedrock

If you're used to playing Minecraft Java Edition and find the Bedrock Edition UI less intuitive, VDX can be a lifesaver. It transforms the UI to mimic the Java Edition's layout, with familiar elements like the hotbar, inventory screen, crafting menu, and chat positioned similarly.



VDX offers multiple UI options beyond just the standard Java Edition layout. You can choose a mixed UI that combines elements from both Bedrock and Java Editions, or even a custom UI experience. VDX is designed for both touch and controller input, so you can comfortably play Minecraft Bedrock Edition with a controller even with the Java Edition-style UI.
