New Cave biomes
The addon introduces a variety of new cave biomes that completely overhaul the underground terrain. These biomes each have unique aesthetics, resources, and dangers.
- Crystal Caverns: Glowing crystals line the walls, offering a magical atmosphere and new crafting materials.
- Mushroom Grottos: Lush, glowing mushrooms fill these biomes, creating a colorful underground forest.
- Lava Fields: Dangerous but rewarding, these areas have pools of lava and valuable resources like diamonds and gold.
Unique mobs
Beyond The Underground brings in a host of new mobs to populate these cave biomes, making the underground more treacherous. These mobs vary in difficulty and appearance, adding variety to the standard skeletons and zombies.
- Cave Dwellers: Humanoid enemies that roam the dark corners of the caves, offering new combat challenges.
- Rock Elementals: Massive stone creatures that guard certain areas of the caves, dropping valuable materials when defeated.
- Glowing Insects: Passive mobs that add life to the underground biomes and can be used for crafting.
New resources and crafting materials
Each biome offers unique resources that can be harvested for new crafting recipes or gear. For example, crystals from Crystal Caverns can be used to craft tools with special properties, while glowing mushrooms may be used for potions or light sources
