Portal Gun mechanics
The core mechanic of the addon is the Portal Gun itself, which allows players to shoot two portals. These portals are connected, meaning walking through one will instantly teleport you to the location of the other. This can be done over large distances, even across dimensions like the Overworld and Nether.
How to Craft Fuel
Creating and maintaining portals consumes fuel, which is brewed at a Brewing Stand. There are four types of fuel liquids, with each corresponding to a specific portal gun variant.
To get started, brew the base purple liquid using an Amethyst Shard. From there, you can add the following ingredients to transform it into different fuel colors:
- Base Fuel (Purple): Amethyst Shard
- Phase Matter (Blue): Purple Liquid + Phase Matter
- Ender Fuel (Green): Blue Liquid + Eye of Ender
- Golden Fuel (Yellow): Green Liquid + Raw Gold
Finally, you need to put a glass with a liquid on the Crafting table to recharge the portal gun cartridge.
I don't have any serious complaints regarding this mod. The only thing that bugged me was the transition animation between portals — it just takes too long.
